hmmmmmm thats odd if its strictly for day use you dont need headlights but think you need something to prove that
mines removable so wont have the light fitted during the day :) but you need headlight and warning lights for mot
does it not say its power output on the box? or is it second hand?
i dont think it matters as a fuse lets power through and will blow if the power goes over so its upto you i would go with 15-20 amp
i will be changing it though lol
bar conversion wise for your headlight check out my zip project of how i have done mine :)

ah only just seen this dude heres a complete wiring diagram for zip (i know its bit late but maybe of use if you ever need it)...
looks good dude but mirrors are awful and you should make/buy a number plate mount for the side casing will make it look alot neater and this rear...
