Well the Malossi 80 kit has arrived, can say I'm very impressed with the quality of the machining on the kit I'm glad I got this kit now instead...

Me too mate, was going for the Polini kit as I've seen that one in the flesh and the quality of machining looks good, I've not seen a Malossi kit...
Update, The Polini 80 kit has been cancelled as I got bored of waiting as I need to get back on the road.... .....just ordered the Malossi 80...
have a look at malossi's range of powercam's also have a look adjusting your clutch settings bringing the power in earlier on the clutch may help...

I thought the same mate as the 50 is always being revved quite hard too, the 80 kit is fairly straight forward swap on the 4t engines, just wish...
More valve lift and longer duration of opening to the standard cam, its a chain driven OHC
No the carb will be changed, it will run with the standard one but I'm going for a slightly bigger size

Standard or Performance? get a few internet tabs open on your web browser theres lots of differnt sites that do parts, a quick google search...
Update... some parts arrived today from the supplier Malossi Powercam 80 Camshaft [IMG][IMG] [IMG] Polini Hi-Speed Variator...
take it back to the garage, if it was fine before they worked on it that would be my first port of call......
About 15,000 mate, these small 50 4t engines have to be revved quite hard too
at the moment bus lol, flexy hours for work but not a big fan of starting late so maybe a van when needed zx won't fix it mate its worn, I...

Update........well of sorts..... Still waiting for the 80 kit to arrive :mad: could really do with it arriving now as the 50 cylinder and piston...
you wanna see some of there other videos there good viewing, not a bad forum either just a shame I have to use a translate tool to read stuff :)
