Too rich on the air screw, adjust it or fit a smaller pilot jet.
The problem could be your spark plug believe it or not! Make sure your running a resistor type plug for example: BR9es not B9es/ BR7hs not...

NRG`s are reknowned for blowing the stators. We had one once that would only run on BR9EG or EGV race plugs. Try a seperate engine earth...
