the clutch springs will increase the pull away, harder they are the higher the bike will need to rev before it pulls my friend never put them in...
but if your 16 and your 50cc goes over 30mph then legally you would have to be 17 to ride it because it would be a 50cc scooter not a moped and on...

if you going for a mx bars conversion then yes and if your bike goes more then 60 it helps u know what speed your going .
once a 50cc scooter goes over 30mph then it classed as a 125cc
