I need circlips for my piaggio zip 50cc. Does anyone know what size they are or where i can buy them from?
Managed to get most of the petroel out of the crank hole today and i also dried the piston/cylinder coz it was covered in petroel. Put it all back...
cheers for the help. I took the manifold off and looked down the crank hole and i can see petroel down there. It looks like its flooded big time....

Is there a wide range of tuning that can be done to these bikes such as cylinder kits, pipes, etc. Im looking to start a project on one.

i aint fucked around with it. one day it was fine and the next day this happened. would someone tell me how to adjust the float height... i dnt...
i can get the bike started but when i throttle it dies and cuts out, bike doenst even move. Still leaks aswell. :beg:
the pipe isnt split anywhere, how do i adjust the float height?
i checkd the float height and its positioned correctly....i took the carb for a day put it back in and the leak still happens... :banghead:...
ok then, ill re check the float height tomorro and ill let you no how it goes.

turn on the bike and theres a leak, when i throttle it starts to squirt and leak. Looks like its coming from the bit where the air box meets the...
any suggestions?
the carb on my zip 50 keeps leaking. Where the airbox meets the carb, the leak seems to be coming from there. everytime i throttle, petroel starts...
all i have done is took the clutch nut off and pulled the whole assembly off the clutch shaft in the engine case.
You have to take off that big nut on the clutch, right? what do you do next?

i fitted a second hand 50s kit. im using the same plug as before because it has a good spark.
my 50s kit siezed so i put a new one in. started it up and let it ran for a min or so. after a minute it cut out. when i try kick it again it wont...
