its definitely a 2 stroke mate, the new runner 50 is catalyzed, its only the vx125/180/200 that have 4 stroke engines in the runner range
leaving it on idle wont charge the battery, you have to be doing a certain amount of revs to charge it, on my vx i believe you have to be doing...
