I think hes talking about base gasket. but no there isent a gasket inbetween head and cyclinder
the leo ones worked fine for me, they sometimes send the wrong size ones, to small. If i were you try the leo ones and see how it goes. Also...
brand new top end, dont no if this has been mentioned but might be worth checking gaskets are sitting correctly and head os torque down properly...
