Mileage? Maybe its down on compression...for the little hassle/money involved you could replace the rings/head gaskets.

You just need a scooter in that manual thats got the same engine (minarelli vertical) and carb size as you. i.e. MBK Booster, MBK Booster Next...

Why did you strip the engine down? It looks as if maybe a piston ring has snapped and some of the fragments have fallen down under the crank...

Just had it out for a run but i think the rollers are too heavy. I'm running 3 x 7.5g and 3 x 9g (standard ones)...the bike is nippy enough but...

Update: I got the engine bolted to the bike on Wednesday night after work and connected everything up this morning. Kick start was really stiff...
