Thought it was the other way round? Yamaha YBR's are now FI and run a whole lot smoother than the old carbed ones IMO.

Pull the rollers out and look round them for flat spots going across ;) And as said, If theres not a washer there its derestricted.
Normal unleaded, Used the higher octane stuff but didnt seem to make a difference.

Why do you need to cut the cable? Your local bike shop should have them, think they solder them on the ends of the cables.
