yes. if your intake manifold has cracks/splits in it then it is defanetely that.. uve got a leak therefore its struggling to run at low speeds.....
the rectifier. thats got nothing to do with the engine not runnig at low speeds. i'd say that its got something to do with your intake. carb.....
it wont be your piston rings because its still got enough compression to run. it wont be your flywheel as this is used for ignition timing.....
