Yes it should of done that because its steel, and when exposed to heat and water its element will show (it will rust) use black heat proof paint

if i were you i would put the 94cc polini kit on, and the polini wiring loam, polini exhaust, polini crank, maybe bigger carb and possible gear up...

my mistake thought was 4t :S in that case it would be gear box oil change, the picture from bossman shows this, errm yes, use best quality 2t oil...
well your gear box oil is just the engine oil, drain from a sump plug beneath the engine make sure the engine is hot / warm when you do an oil...
thats odd, you should be easily hitting 55??. Best thing to do it to take it back to who ever installed it

read the booklet that came with the air filter, you have to up jet by 10% from the one that's in your bike originally
