just checked the purple wire and got a buzz :) was one single purple wire from the coil to the cdi
yes iam going to go and try now :) bbs
and the coil... is the this the one the spark plug lead comes off right??
ok when you say unplug the cdi and see if it buzzes, do you mean just check the purple wire that it connects to and not the actual cdi ye . sorry...

hmmm ive checked all the wires are plugged in and tobe honest i wouldn't no where to start to test them.
or do i replace the ignition coil?
ok so should i replace this first, cos theres a few on ebay at the moment for £25
and his the cdi my bike takes [IMG]
this is my alarm i have and i think the immobilizer was wired in also[IMG]

hi mate , ok should i try a brand new cdi or second hand? and i have an alarm with an immobiliser but its not set up on the cdi i dont think , one...
how do you go about testing all that.... and sorry to sound stupid but what is the pick up? :S

just did a compression test also and it was 100 psi so far as i know the top end is all good
