I tend to use paint ;) and i had idea of doing an england style spray paint as euro/world cup going to be around soon :P
once you have cleaned it up to get back chrome may take good half hour? all takes is quick 30 sec wipe every ride out :P takes longer to spray...
agreeed aint done many visuals to bike really, just put few stickers on, sprayed indicators and that about it for now :P going to do the above and...

yep :P bike kinda looks odd anyways at moment half engine sprayed aluminium colour, 1 wheel silver 1 black :P and forks silver gunna do all mainly...

depends how bad it is, get a picture up and ill tell you if u can get back to chrome look, cover in wd-40 or some maintaniance spray and sand down...
