Is the pump jet working? It's the black plastic arm on the r/h side, work the throttle and make sure it moves, it not get it lubed so it doe's.
The flywheel is on the r/h side, the water pump is on the l/h side behind the variator!
It sounds like the flywheel has come loose/ woodruff key worn and firing at the wrong time, remove flywheel to check it.
All engines move a tad, but in what direction? If it's only a tad then no problem.
