Flat battery?
I don't think it was fitted to anything, it's a after market carb! Nearest bike would be a Aprillia RS 125 and that ran a 28mm Dellorto.
You could try a larger main jet in the carb, 4t engines run very lean to get through emission laws, it won't hurt it to go a little larger, extra...
I don't think there is any test data, unfortunately you need a replacement to try!
As said, don't thrash it to death, let it warm up a little before starting off, just be easy with it.
Has it cut out yet? if not leave it!
Regulator, bad earth?
Your coat pocket ?
They are utter rubbish, I had one similar on one of my old typhoon's, don't waste your money!
The bleed nipple is on the Banjo bolt fitted to the AJP caliper.
Std airbox/90 main jet will work with the std carb! And yes put a gear kit in it.
I've still got it, I'm in Leicester.
I've got nearly 20 years on you and I still haven't learnt! :D
The caliper mount is for a 50cc runner/nrg/typhoon.
The regulators rarely give problems, check all the wiring from the battery and earth's.
Roller weight does'nt make it faster, the std rollers work fine, the only way to make it faster is more power, more CC's.
The AJP caliper has it's bleed nipple on the Banjo bolt, to be fair the AJP caliper is crap, change it for a runner caliper. ( Vespa Et2 Et4 front...
What roller weights are you using? Completely std should work very well, the 125 is under geared for a 172/180 anyway so should accelerate very quick.
I use BBQ paint! It's a bit matt black but work's just as bad as any so called "high temp" paint!
