Measure up the rear hub/engine type, front forks etc, it can be done ! Put some pictures up.
The std will be ok with a 70cc barrel. Mine is a std 125, beryl is 15 y/o I've owned her from new, over 40,000 miles and still on the std crank....
Junk all that off and fit a 70cc barrel kit, std upjetted carb/std pipe. Lovely !
No , A bigger main jet would help if it's derestricted .
As you say it just goes into the belly panel, it's an inlet for air to cool the variator/clutch, if it's not kinked then it's ok.
Get a set of vx forks, or just the stem and try them in your skipper!
