Make sure the bike is completely level. Remove dipstick. Wipe dipstick off with a rag or kitchen roll. Place dipstick in, don't screw it in....
why? if you really want a pitbike on the road just go and buy one that's already almost legal, pay the £55 DVLA fee and be done. Its the easiest way.
