Is the auto choke unit getting warm when running ? Also check valve clearance and adjust mixture screw at tickover.

There not bad for the price, straight forward fitting. You'll need to upjet the carb, fit a quality drive belt, no problem.

Hard to get more power (80cc barrel) but you can get a little more speed, Possible spacer on the variator. upjet the carb and check for diaphram...
Just fit the 50cc barrel /head down jet a little.
