pretty sure it will have to be sva tested. ring dvla and they will tell you everrything you need to know

flywheel is the same as the ac ones just tapped for the fan screws. its the stator and cdi that improves the ignition and thats wat you want

sound like timing to me, check the woodruf key and the air gap between the fly and the pick up . or points if it runs on it
