It probably would work but it might ruin the CAT if it's got one fitted due to the extra emissions a 2 stroke engine emits.

Hi Pedro, an aftermarket pipe will help. Depends how much you're prepared to spend on her. Have you thought about a 70cc upgrade kit?
So that's about 400 quid? If it's in good nick and has MOT etc that could be a bit of a bargain.
