sounds like your old engine has oil problems especially if its scored the top end they will run but its a known fact a scored top end will not...
get a 25mm delorto for a minor setup like that. piss easy to set up and the difference will be immense
thats well lean either put the airbox back on or you need to upjet.
you either need a rear rack for a old style runner with the small grab rail or you need a plate you can get from piaggio for the new style grab...

you cant run a standard 250 or 300 top end as one half of the nexus and gts engines are different based on the leader engine but not the same....
if you do your own maintenence wouldnt it be easier to change the belt before it breaks sounds to me your frapping it each day and bearly looking...

no its not hard. the engines are basicsally the same but the wiring and stuff may be different. dont think theres too much that needs to be done

speedo is in kms. boa lock is on most older models but most newer models they were added extra you would be very unlucky not to get one
