right ok , so you have fuel , you have compression , and some spark but might not be enough , so could be a coil or cdi fault
when you installed the piston did you make sure the arrow is facing the exhaust port
you down jets in 2's not in 20's !
is the plug wet when you remove it after trying to start it
i ride my rs without a thermostat just takes longer to warm up mines never gone wrong with over heating etc

yeah its the main jet then mate
is it full throttle when it does it ?
if its spluttering its running to rich mate , knock the main jet down a bit and try it
yeah sounds like you left the choke on for to long and flooded it lol
if you smell it getting flooded the main jet is to big , or the choke as been left on or is sticking , or the float is sticking :)
don't worry mate i wont my mate had a 03 model full power couldn't believe how fast it was for a 125 , want one that's got full proof of a recent...
