fair enough then mate all the cases are the same i think as long as there 50cc and the air cooled cases just have a good look at yours and compare...
dellorto carb conversion to get rid of that awful gurnter carb , and a sports exhaust with lighter rollers should get you plodding along a bit...
it would be easier to make a custom bracket as replacing one side of the engine case is basically a full engine rebuild

yeah you wont get much quicker than 35 mph out of it , to be fair mate id sell it and get your self a half decent 2 stroke which will do 50 mph...

yeah it will be over fueling now , and if the exhaust has a extra pipe on thats a cat pipe which will restrict the bike again unless its been cut...
charge the battery if it does not hold a charge replace it has one or more of the cells are dead
just buy a set of spark plug sockets they arent dear , or if you have a big enough spanner use the ring end on it that's what iv done on my l/c...
its still a morini engine weather it being l/c or a/c , yeah worn rollers are a possibility , , 20-25 up hill seems really slow to me i used to be...

yeah id change it , also hot air by the manifold ? sounds like the head might be warped or not bolted down properly
