Not with the aerodynamics of a brick shithouse.
Whats the air temperature like with you . My bike runs shit in warm weather , hot air is less dense so it richens the mixture and ideally I should...
Have you removed the snorkel from the airbox?
As for the carb go with a 17.5 it will really improve the performance.
You could also make some extra cash selling ice creams.
And watch the windows pop out.
I suspect that your problem is something to do with the mixed weights in your variator. adding your weights up and dividing them by 6 gives an...
The only way to know is to suck it and see. I dont think mine is perfect as it stutters slightly when opening the throttle. I'm sure that fiddling...
Probably not, but be aware that the standard reads don't last long when you fit a 70 kit, also the throttle response is better with fibre reads....
It'll still be a bit noisy with the snorkel removed, but at least it will breath better.
Apparently they seem to work on bikes which have disc valves and any improvement on am engine with read valves is negligible.
I have to kickstart mine when the engine is cold but can use the starter when it's warm
If you've got an aerox and it's a streetrace kit try around 84 with a standard airbox and the snorkel removed.
Keep the airbox and filter, just remove the snorkel.
Take a look at this http://www.pedparts.co.uk/blog/introduction-to-moped-jetting
Husky your setup is similar to mine, have you changed the reads? if not do now. I ran mine with a 12mm for a couple of days it went a little...
How do you know?
The ZX has a lip and your supposed to use one of those aluminium concertina like round gaskets/seal.
Should be around 70 on a 12mm with a standard airbox. I run an 84 with a dellorto 17.5 any bigger and it wont get off the drive.
It's weird how bikes which are so similar need different jetting to run properly.
