which gaskets you onabout mate ? if you mean inbetween the 2 cases where the crank sits im sure its sealant not an actual gasket

quick update: got the engine cleaned up and took a picture of the some of parts that are going in it. ill get some pics of the frame and pannels...

has the bike still got coolant in ? because if it was leaking into the cylinder and ran out of coolant it would of overheated and probably damged...
head gasket might be gone and leaking coolant into the cylinder mate. see if anyone else knows what it could be but that sounds possible
