Arai are very nice lids, but try before you buy as they have weird sizes and ive never found one ive liked the fit of, they are a love em or hate...

Your better to put the oil in first than add the fuel... that way when the fuels added its helps mix the oil into the petrol.... if you just dump...
They fit just the same chap, although on the 4stroke models it protudes into the head more.

Check the LH crank seal isnt leaking... Then try disconnecting the choke power supply and see if it helps as this will keep the choke on all...
With that pipe left open it will be sucking in air so making the mixture very lean, so if youve now blocked it you should be able to run a smaller...
Any newish catalyst equipped machine that has a exhaust restriction should be upjetted once derestricted... on a 2 stroke machine the back...

Brass plate aint a restriction, its best left alone unless your running a very rpm alloy cylinder or 70cc kit. Its there to direct air flow...
