sounds like your front break is sticking, you may need to get the caliper stripped down and the piston seals checked/replaced

why buy a 180 and re register it as a 125 wouldnt it be easier to get a 125 and put a 180 on it
short constant trips are going to be worse for the engine than long distance, although 150miles at full throttle could be damaging, just maintain it

if its a stock bike you want to source some stock rollers (16x13 9 gram i think) stock jet and stock clutch springs
check your flywheel is on properly, could be on wrong changing the spark timing and igniting the fuel on the exhaust stroke, was there a woodruff...
does look really low, are the new forks and rear shock a different length to the original ice ones? gona look mint when its done :)
