sounds like an immobiliser problem to me mate, might need re-coding ring up a peugeot dealer and see what they reccomend, failing that you can buy...
would be best of getting a new 70 kit tbh, and the 17.5 delly is standard on the piaggio's so would check that its been upjetted or add a 21ml to...
most bike record the mileage in kilometres mate, nothing to really worry about there are plenty of converters online to work it out the miles it...
for a long commute i would personally go for a stock 125 4-stroke, something with the leader engine would be a good choice such as the runner vx...
but there will be plenty more people out there happy with their speedfights, theres a whole forum dedicated just to peugeot scooters so a few...

by saying that the sprockets could be restricted they would be talking about the gearing ratio- i.e the tooth size of the front and rear...
oh didnt think that was possible? would that mean them removing the fan just to be able to fit a Lc casing just for the extra ££ :eek:
