the one on ebay will never match the quality of a malossi or even the paramakit kits that have been mentioned, you get what you pay for at the end...
needs new crank bearings and seals then mate, would be best to get it done as soon as possible as to not cause more damage

firstly get a new spark plug and see if that makes any difference, if not i heard of a few new zips with dodgy stators so dont rule that out just yet

if it was fine before then try the springs that were being used originally and work your way up/down from there, its all trial and error ;)
