must of done something to the el start or bendix , it should be turning the engine , what gaskets have you changed?? and did u take the carb off?
i got malossi one on my aerox i really kicks the power in fast even with standard belt ! not sure about the stage 6 one but this is a worth buy...
your jet sounds to big , standard jet is 53 and when you derestrict your exhaust you only go up in two sizes so 55 in your case , and you can...
the fastest around with no nos on it is shinys runner it does 101mph so all them bodge 172 dont come close to that ... i had a 172 with all bolt...
