it wourks fine without it mate only some come with that plate on but most piaggios with 17.5 carb come without the plate
yh when i used to take my filter of my rox it used to bog and cut out straight
or airfilter cleaned? check if its even there as if its been upgraded they kinda small you could of lost it or it got really wet

is that runner 125 radiator u got in there?
i have tried that mate and it dont seem to work well as the main beam is so bright you can barely see the indicators at day time
passed my mod one today with one advisory was going 49 when 50 kmph was needed , and im doing my mod 2 on 18 of jan day before the laws are...

i think forks need to come off mate its same on mk2 zip what i did is cut the panel behind the wheel so it can do on and off , worked for me
got horizontal ones from an aerox cleaned and polished
