are your jets all in place sounds like a jet could be missing or needle is placed wrong way round
i have the same problem mate but i dont think i have that gold ring the prevoius owner had taken it out any way i wouldnt take that ring out just...
check that the vacuum pipe is connected under the inlet manifold
aidenbean have you checked that the needle is the right way round??? this could be your problem
you said the screw aint tightening up wat screw are you talking about the 2 side screws or the one used for a drain plug? plz be abit more specific :)
get a new bowl should not cost alot

where is it leaking from is it a hole or is it leaking from where the bowl connects to the carb itself? if it is a hole i suggest you get another...

Hi all i have a dna 50 which the engine sounds like a truck i have a strong feeling that my crank bearings are about to go can anybody help me on...
that is the powerband kicking in if u want to change that get heavier rollers but not too heavy otherwise u wont have any acceleration
