Oh yeah forgot you said that, clean the carb and it will probably be fine.. if not it could be a faulty auto choke.
might just need slightly upjetting or the air/fuel mixture might be slightly out
i used castrol actevo but now using castrol power 1 now i've started to tune the zip.. strawberry scented rock oil is also very nice <3
clean the carb, jets, all fuel lines, vacuum, you havent put an open filter or anything on it or put a race exhaust on?
does it bog down if you rev it up at a stand still?

i missed 2 screws in the glove box which actually releases the headlight lmao.. good ole haynes manual!
could block the corners off with a bit of plastic inside the headlight maybe, then you'd still see the indicators with ya headlight on :) ?
this wont pass an mot and im not sure at all whether an led resistor would work with this as they aren't led's?.. i dont know much about the...
