could it be the pipe has pushed the power further up the rev range and you now need lighter rollers ?
it takes 15 mins to look in your carb and see... failing that give Ped Parts a ring.
I didnt vote on why some car drivers hate scooters, as i couldnt see a box that i agreed with. im a car and scooter owner, so maybe i can see it...

you need to check what your original jet is and order a jet 10% larger for a sports pipe. Rollers and clutch springs will not have an effect on...
C30 is too much pipe for an MHR rep, you want a C16 (or equivalent) ideally... 30mm carb is also ridiculously large for an MHR rep. also you dont...

As far as im aware.. a moped has to display a reflector at the rear, but im not aware of any need legally to display a reflector to the sides.
The variator wont have any effect on the carb... It may be a too weak contra spring causing the engine to dip in revs. if the spring is too weak...
