Have you run it stationary on the stand with the side casing off to see if the belt is running up and down the pulleys as it should be ?

It really sounds like a belt issue tbh. How many miles have you done with it.
Ok. Mine was not that bad.
When I replaced my belt a couple of weeks ago the performance was down until the belt ran in it took a couple of hundred miles.
Are you referring to push bike computer types ? If so I'd go for a cordless type or a cycle GPS if it's within your budget.
