It acts as a coolant in the engine so imagine using air instead of liquid to cool an engine, it would overheat.

What did it add to your scooter more top speed or just a general extra boost?
I have an elyseo 125 and I am tempted to get a new variator how much difference will it make and which one is better out of the three the polini...
Tbh buy a new cable its not worth the risk.
I use motorbike oil in mine atm its fully synthetic not any different in terms of running but mines high mileage.
Why do you think it is the coil if you replaced it and it made no difference then it might not be the coil at fault?
I attached mine to the bike and used a very large slotted screw driver and a little patience.
Does anyone know the size of the exhaust studs used in this scooter?
I checked it at the weekend it was a little loose I tightened it a little and got a few extra mph. Cheers for the reply.
Can a loose throttle cable cause a scooter not to run as fast as it used to?

Fouled plug would be a start.
I have a non standard exhaust my plug was white and I would bog at 45 i changed the 125 jet to a 135 now it bogs at 55 would a 145 or 150 jet be...
