I would bet money its the switch it should click then turn over.
Insert key turn to on and try to start it does the relay click when you try, are you holding the left hand brake when turning it over?
Does it click the relay when pushed?
I got a ybr125 nice commuter bike 100mpg not going to win any speed tests or you won't wheelie with one but it does the job also its only £2400...
Have you cleaned the switch contacts my pug used to do this till I noticed the contacts were corroded cleaned em up and it started first time...

If its a wet lead acid battery check the electrolyte level and adjust accordingly.
