happened to me once, front pulley came off, grinded on crank. Lots of time on rubbing with a file. Took agesss [img]
Definitely preferred the grey but the red aint bad at all.

well im not saying that that's whats happened to yours lol
sounds exactly like what happened to my 172 (backfire, etc) the key in the crank let the flywheel grind the stator to shit
