is it water cooled.if so,ide say you got a head gasket gone.if not water cooled....no idea sept drain the lump put some clean oil in it,run it...
if you've got side panels, you could screw back on after looping tinsel etc behind or use some suitably coloured bike stickers to do the stuff...
I got everything in my box to do everything bar change a variator and clutch.not 100% quality but if ive taken it off before with a good tool it...
might be able to drill it out...or get a bigger carb off a larger bike and see if that sorts it .my chinky took a 19mm straight swap for a 16mm...

sounds like your fiddling with every thing and getting no where fast..do the carb first..if that ain't right your lump wont run properly.then sort...
