is it blowing? might have bent the end part of the exhaust that the gasket goes on, this happend to mine i had to bend it back and grind it down...

engine mounts are the same it will bolt straight in, but like others have said it would be better to just get a 70's

Undo the two gold bolts on the top side so they are a little loose, on the back side turn the SMALLER allen key bolt and the spring will stretch...
Did you bleed the oil pump when you done the rebuilt? if you didnt air in the oil pump may have caused it to sieze
