sam, don't bother changing your crank then, personally i'd just get a low end 70cc kit, motoforce,polini,stage 6, malossi sport kits are all good...
75 is what i got clocked on a gps, with badly set up rollers/clutch so should be 80 if im lucky, that's head tucked in pinned down a dual caridgeway

what are the specs of the bike ? If standard the carb mixture/idle skrew should be set too 3 1/4 turns out from all the way in, if you let me know...
only one zip using a 50cc engine casing (not 125/172) has hit 102mph on dyno that was a polini evo 96cc (hardly standard) a ktm exc125 hit 104mph...
i've had 9-10 crashes in 4 years lol, either bike is to powerful (fucking useless in traffic) or someone/somethings made me come off, only ever...
