So I bought this bike as my first project. Bough it in very bad condition, but with very good engine. The first photos will tell how bad the bike was. From the start new it how I want it to look like, but needed a lot of work to put in. Sorry not many photos forgot to take at some parts Next day started to take everything apart to see what happened to front forks (single arm) So after took everything off, the front forks were snapped, how that happened still trying to figure out Thanks to eBay bought another 1 just for 40pounds and in good condition. took everything off to respray the frame, had to much rust. Not the best at painting but still looks better then before in my opinion. After that change the oil and got some fresh petrol. The wheels got new color as well. Later on got some parts delivered like always didn't take many pics After got the wheels painted started to put everything back together. So as you can see started to back everything back together wasn't happy with the back will so later on I took off and done the job properly. Next day got the panels finally when I saw them I was really happy. lol After I got all the plastics on still wasn't happy about the bike, so took everything off Again, and cleaned the engine made the back wheel look properly as it should. So in the last pictures that bike looks nearly finish all i need is to cover the seat in white and change the exhaust that's coming in 3-4 days. Also the number plate holder will be fixed properly. So as I said still no fully finished but in a weak or two it will be ready to go back on road!!
looks good dude but mirrors are awful and you should make/buy a number plate mount for the side casing will make it look alot neater and this rear light http://www.scooter-center.com/scowe...egory2=CAT:CAT_STYLING:CAT_STYLING_RUECKLICHT other then that looks good
I've had a Speedfight fork snap on me before. I was doing somewhere between 40-50mph and it just snapped going over a bump. Looked in fine condition before too, don't know how I didn't hurt myself. Really like what you've done with this one, looks nice.
I was thinking to get some piaggio nrg or gilera runner forks and put those in, but would it fit? And new mirrors are on the way!!
What you doing about a speedo? Wanna do a Handelbar conversion on my sr but can't afford the new speedo at the mo. know alot of ppl don't bother putting em back on but that's normaly 50s witch don't really need one lol but my sr is a 125 don't think il get away with not having one....will I? Lol. Bikes is look sick tho dude good job
best bet would of been to put some trekker forks on, look dead good. I did it to a speedy i got the other day Just need to mod the undertray mudguard thing
Your bike looks great! I painted my airintake red. I think it would be neat if you painted your white? And the Fournales suspension is superb!
