Mk 1 Zip SP Project.

So went and sold the aerox for £550 and found this local, And as there rare I thought its a good find. Paid a good deal of £140 for it, Its a none runner but tolds its the carb. Should be a easy fix as my friend has a 12mm weber carb and he'll be round tomoz. Post some pics and then ill update tomoz.

There's nun no wear in scooter forums lol, and there's 3 in Yarmouth lol, putting the stage 6 on Tomoz see how it sounds, need to borrow that carb swell mate

 

Yeah ok, I'll find it all up when I'm up lol.. police left Mr a voicemail this morning saying thet have spoken to them boys in Bradford and they've said I will get my money back, but do I still want them arrested! so 120 will get a few little goodies

the Mk2 SP have a 17.5 carb as standard. Imagine theyre basically the same motor but with new shape panels etc.
IMHO the 12mm will starve the engine

 

Yeah its a 12mm webber carb. Way to small to even think of tuning it, A 17.5 is next or even a 19/21 seeing if any ones got one for sale for a good price before i splash out big lol

Little update on the past todays,




Off with the old.


On with the new (was a fiver of a friend, Picture down will show how well it actually came up lol)


Engine out.

Clean engine stages(was much worse than this 100X Worse)


bit more cleaner.


Exhaust after a good old clean, need to get hold of a stage 6 endcan as it has a ZX atm, a friend is kindly giving me one of them.


Bore off, Crank inspection. The bike has only done 6000 miles. Still a baby, As you can see by the bike and frame, panels are worse for wear, Went to see my painter today and the'll be done soon. For the orange wheels there going. The back is so poor. Secret on colours though.

Had a problem with the kick, It seemed to move alot and metal shaves were magically appearing lol
Dad then realised.



No problem for the spare JB WELD I had laying around.



Fixed for now, Won a side casing off ebay for a quid. and 5 posted. £6 altogether lol.



As it stands untill my 9 speed comes of a member off here. And when i win a carb of ebay. and when i pick a bore kit lol.



Its clean for now. Wheels getting done tomoz. Will upload when finished with them.

Not Everyday you see one of these lol

So yeah have sprayed the little vents on the front, Got some de-greaser from dad work today to clean the frame down.
The panels will be striped soon but have to take the folks of to get the front panel of .

Need to get some more spray for the wheels and obv some lacquer. Nearly there, Got a 19mm carb on ebay at a bargain price then a 21mm came on, so bought that as well Selling the 19 if anyone need one, Or a friend will have it. In need of a bore kit if not ill buy new and a new manifold as got some reeds of a friend!
