Hello guys, i can't stop buying scooters!!! This is my last cacht: 2000 Vespa Et2: This ped will be completely repainted Red ferrari, probably keeping the inner panels black for the moment and see if i like them. for now i've bought black zip sp wheels, new belt, brake pads and crank bearings: front suspension: clear lenses: and new seat: still to come: Polini sport 70cc (later to become corsa opening the exhaust port) malossi full circle crank malossi MHR overange kit stage6 clutch alarm ans some other bits
why not! i know you can have cheaper cranks (pms, bgm, stage6) but i'd like to help the Italian economy
i'm doing it to keep my doors opened for a LC conversion with a MAlossi Mhr rep 70cc kit (that i have already) and the existing xrank is 12 years old, a new one is needed anyway, i will use this scooter for 15-20 miles everyday
You bought the engine bits yet? I've still got the crank and kit in cases if you want them a bit cheaper than new. Overrange will be totally over kill however. Might even end up a bit like a too long gear up. The seat, indis and front shock all remind me of my own bike. I think we should do a tuned vespa meet up.
today it didn't rain that often and funny enough i've received the order from AJSutton placed a month ago. so i've fitted the black front black wheel and the clear lenses. already a massive difference for me
so fortunately 1 day without rain here so jumped outside and keep working! this is how i left it a couple of days ago: before starting with the visuals i had to do a heart transplant: i forgot to take a picture of the Polini 70cc fitted... then new double layer malossi sponge: then disconnect and remove oil tank (leaving the sensor attached of course) and up-jetted to run the 70cc, pre-mix and malossi filter. I found a 86 main jet (it's a dell'orto 13mm) i fitted a 118, i think is too big but it's the only one over 100 i had. then i changed the rear wheel and itted new brake shoes: i left the rac 12v impact gun for those saying that it cannot remove it.... i've also fitted an after market exhaust with an original look but it sounds better then standard (video) that's it for today
this makes a better sound and it's lighter (performance wise it will probably be the same), i will see how it will look with all the plastic on, if too close i'll put the original back
