well here is my new pride and joy 06 plate, 9.5k on the clock, 5 months tax and test, new exhaust (still got the uprated jets in from the rusted out leo vince) £300. BARGAIN hes got a few scrapes, needs a new indicator lense, rear light and mirror. got the mirror and rear light on the way, the indicator can wait. but on the whole a tidy machine, i cant decide whether to keep the standard exhaust and swap to standard jets. or weld up and tidy up the leo vince zx also at the moment ive no idea if its been derestricted or not (will tell once i get it out on the open road) but im not overly bothered as ill be riding it with my full car licence so 30mph restricted by law
Tidy ped Don't think the fuzz are to bothered about derestricted peds tbh, mines registered as 50 but has a 70s kit in it, stage 6 exhaust and malossi carb, goes off the clock. Sometimes it's safer to have a ped, for those times you have no other option but to speed up! As long as your not a prat they won't pull you
Stick a 70s kit in it, upjet the carb if needed, new air filter, do all the rollers etc and you'll go like the wind
Lol and probably fall off. I may one day go bigger. But for now the 50 should do the job. If I want fast ill just get in the car
You won't fall off, and if you want fast, you should do that to your ped, mine beats a lot of cars off the line, and then they take a while to catch up
Drag race, I doubt it haha, I've had loads of cars try and fail all I gotta do is put my head down, pull the throttle back and it's off
If we did race, I bet you'd get stuck behind loads of cars at traffic lights < that's another advantage haha
Then stuck in the set after, and before you know it, I'm over the line hahaha Seriously tho, you'll have a lotta fun on bob, people don't realise until they have one
gotta go with what ive got unfortunatly. i was abotu to give up with keeping it in the yard, but manged to find some wood wide enough to make it easy
currently its one plank that was chopped in half and screwed next to each other so yeah two planks. I had originally planned on using one. and it was wide enough, but very easy to miss and pop off the side of it. now i dont even have to think as i run the bike up it
right, as im new to all this 2 stroke crap and ive no manual lets talk oil is it jsut a case of keeping the oil res topped up? when the oil light comes on on the 'dash' how long have i got to top it up? and do i need to adjust anything? cheers and sorry for the noob question
