2001 Peugeot Speedfight 100

    Second project is a Speedfight 100 - this one is getting resprayed and is running fine.

    Just need to fit the starter motor gearing.

    Sorry for the poor picture, I am picking it up Sunday and will take new pictures then.

    Like to keep yourself busy don't you! If it's running well and just a respray should be pretty easily done and if it's cheap with MOT or being MOT'd, definitely money to be made as these always sell well.

    It's one of business ventures mate and yes it keeps me out of trouble ha ha.

    Always wanted a speedy to work on when I had my Aerox 9 years ago so happy to be doing one up!

    Looks like its got some aftermarket bits on like indicators etc, looking forward to getting it - the Sym isn't my kind of bike...

    Started spraying the panels:

    Had a poor paintjob, they had sprayed over the stickers :-S

    It's a 50cc with a 100cc engine, performance air filter, gianelli exhaust, clear indicators and Lexus rear light.

    Got really good tyres and runs sweet - very happy!

    Finished the front panels, started unbolting the rest and discovered it has a tnt rear shocker and side stand!

    hi mate did you change the cog on your starter motor and how hard was it?

    i have same bike same year and need to do mine.

    awesome the paint finish looks great, how much have you spent on paint so far?

    check out my question about how to remove the cog on the starter motor if you would be so kind lol

    Spent about 300 inc paint, mot and other bits and bobs.

    ah right that sucks, yeah when you take the transmission cover off you can see the cog but how does it come off is what i wanted to ask you? i have a new one here someone gave me so want to put it on.

    300 eh well it was worth it the bike looks great im going to spray mine and thinking about yellow now lol

    Not sure myself mate, haven't attempted it yet haha

    Yeah I recommend the colour, just bought another speedfight 2 which I'm gonna resprayed lime green!
