125cc shineray road legal pit bike project

heya guys i bought this road legal pit bike as a project for £50,

heres what it looked like when i picked it up last week:

 

engine = £100 - 250
swing arm = £25 - 50
axcel = £5
sprockets = £ 10 - 30
plate holder = £ 10 - 20
chain tensioners = £ 15
wiring = £ 10 - 30
rear tyre = £ 10 - 20
fairing = £50 - 70
speedo = £ 15 - 45
bolts = £ 10
road legal bits = £ 30 - 80

£290 - 625

 

done the welding on the engine mounts ,

im going to strip it and spray the frame red when i get a chance ,

got hold of a pair of new indicators for free,

watch this space guys when i get the £100 together im getting a job loot of sickening parts for this bad boy

update

striped the wireing loom , i plan to rewire a brand new wireing loom in the future .





sanded pannels , i will be reciveing another set of brand new pannels ,although for now i will tart up these pannles,then possibly sell this set of pannels for some dollar :L








ive got a aerox rear led brake light , i will try to fit under the back pannels,


i got hold of a normal pitbike brake light and a kill switch


i got hold of some new body pannel screws



i was thinking about doing a modification to this front light , any ideas ?

i bought a brand spanking new quick action throttle with a braided cable





much more to come please coment with any ideas fo rmy project , i need a running pit bike engine if anybody has a cheap one going , i was thinking upside down forks mabey .

the rain stoped so i decided to take some snaps of the pitbike as it stands atm

the previous owner had fitted some sort of scooter tyre to the front of the bik e, wich has around a 1mm clearence on the forks , if anybody knows where i can purcase another one for these please let me know below , there are some photos of the weld,bike and tyres


i recently blew up my neos 50 :/ i have a pmtuning bore kit wich needs new rings , but was previously seized but hopefully is useable , i also have a top performance 70cc iron ac kit , this is brand new but it has the wronge sized rings, if anybody has a spare set please inbox me i needthem desperatly , its a double ringed bore , it has no compresion with the current rings

the engine has a oi leak , bent gear levers and no cover , buyt aparently it runs , untill i get a new cdi/coil to get a working spark i wont know ,

id like to get another of the front tyres for the back there realy nice big and grippy wich to all of you who have ridden a pit bike , it will need as much grip as it can get :L

im going to spend £100 on a job lot of parts tuesday morning so there should be a big update,
new carbs ,
new cdi's,
a whole set of brand new pannels,
new forks,
new swing arm ,
rear brake set up,
clutch and brake levers,
skidpan,
bars,
chain,
sprokets,
and lots lots more there should be another big update tuesday evening

 

when you sit on that does the tyre not rub

 

nope the tyre dosent rub , im hopeing to stick some lighter tyres on it at a later point

pannels resprayed , crappy job just to make it look nice untill i get the new pannels tuesday

it needs a new 5 wire stator plate then it will be running i have the engine with carbon fiber look covers for sale , if anyones intrestd

sorry for the lack of updates , busy converting my neos to a lc aerox engine
