just fitted a zx on pipe on a freinds stand gilera runner 50. it used to do 50-55 with standard deristerd pipe n since the zx has been put on it struggles to do 30. the standard exhasut is the one with that extra pipe that comes off. some one told me upjet the carb, if so whicj size please..
posts like this weekly... literally weekly. read a few of them your rolers are wrong.. why are you working on a bike if you have no idea how to fit the parts? yes the 4 bolts that hold it on any monkey can attach, setting them up is half the job of fitting hence people are tunners and not mechanics.. dont mess wiht things you dont understand, ESPECIALLY if they dont belong to you
jets all the way loool find out wat the standard jet is and go like 10% up or jus get a pack and try different ones oh and like minor said dont work on your bike unless ur 100% sure you no wat your doin i learnt the hard way
jet on just a pipe wont make any difference to performance, will just heat up quicker as its slightly lean.... you dont know the stock jet size meaning you dont know what your talking about, so where do you get this "deffinatly jet m8 all the way" nonsence? stock rollers are 7.2... zx's are happy around the 5.3 mark. the jet is SLIGHTLY smaller than it should be and yes banging a BIG jet in there will make it run at full throttle.., but it will be rich as fuck and down on power.. upjet to a 58/60 and drop the roller weight.. an read some other posts next time
