Can anyone help? I didn't ride my zip for about 2 weeks and it was running perfectly before and then when i tried to start it it wont start? Really confused will appreciate feedback
Definitely need to remove any shirts that are in the carb. Petrol isn't stable (you can get stabiliser for when you leave the bike standing for a while) so it can thicken and leave deposits in the carb over time. There's a drain screw on the very bottom of the carb to let you drain out old fuel. Unscrew it a couple turns, fuel should pour out near the centre stand (it'll create a smal puddle) and then you can nip it up, give it 5 mins to refill the float bowl and try starting again.
