zip sp derestricton-jet size

Hi, I have a quick question.Am derestricting a 2005 Piaggio Zip SP.

Variator is already done-increased speed from 29mph to between 35-40mph depending on wind!

Next job is exhaust. I will remove the two blind pipes and plate over the hole. Then take off the hose for the SAI system where it joins the exhaust and plug that.

I am NOT removing the brass plate at the carb entrance.

What size of main jet will be required once the exhaust is derestricted?

had my standard exhaust derestricted when i bought it new as far as i know thay never upjetted it, dont wast ur time tho just get a after market pipe, leo vince are good for the price

 

its just till I save up and can do a cylinder kit and exhaust at same time

 

pedparts sell a 17.5 carb supposed to be jetted correctly for a de resricted zip it has a 65 jet

 

you can fit a leo vince on a 50 and will work well when you upgrade to a sport 70 i only had mine two weeks before i fitted a pipe she wassent even run in lol

 

mines still running standard de restricted exhaust and i am more than happy with the difference in performance it made de restricting certainly its alot faster than friends aircooled zip with 5 gram rollers expansion pipe fitted
